Twenty20 Cup

The top twelve entrants based on 2009 league positions will contest the Twenty20 Cup.
For the draw the twelve teams were placed in three pots of four as follows:
Pot 1 Teams that finished in the top four positions
Pot 2 The next four finishers
Pot 3 The next four finishers
A team from each pot was drawn in each group.
A further draw was made to determine the fixtures in each group.

Group 1 Instonians, Lisburn, Bangor
Lisburn v Bangor (to be played in w/c 17 or 24 May)
Instonians v Lisburn (to be played in w/c 31 May or 7 June)
Bangor v Instonians (to be played in w/c 14 or 21 June)

Group 2 CSNI, Carrickfergus, Muckamore
Carrickfergus v Muckamore (to be played in w/c 17 or 24 May)
CSNI v Carrickfergus (to be played in w/c 31 May or 7 June)
Muckamore v CSNI (to be played in w/c 14 or 21 June)

Group 3 North Down, CIYMS, Downpatrick
CIYMS v Downpatrick (to be played in w/c 17 or 24 May)
North Down v CIYMS (to be played in w/c 31 May or 7 June)
Downpatrick v North Down (to be played in w/c 14 or 21 June)

Group 4 Waringstown, Woodvale, Lurgan
Woodvale v Lurgan (to be played in w/c 17 or 24 May)
Waringstown v Woodvale (to be played in w/c 31 May or 7 June)
Lurgan v Waringstown (to be played in w/c 14 or 21 June)

Semi-Finals To be played in w/c 28 June or 5 July

2nd Round (to be played 26 June)
Derriaghy v Cliftonville
BISC or Saintfield v Armagh or Larne
Dundrum v Templepatrick
Cooke Collegians or Ards v Laurelvale

Semi-Finals to be played by 9 July

Final Sunday 1 August (venue to be confirmed)

The Finals of both Cup and Shield will be played at the same venue
