The Leinster Cricket Union are again in the process of arranging a 10-day training camp for young cricketers based in Pune (Poona) India, from Dec 13th - 23rd next.
This will be the fourth year Leinster cricketers have been given the opportunity to example both playing and practice facilities in India. The camp focuses on batting against spin bowling (local spin bowlers on hand each day) however players do have the opportunity to work on their bowling, fielding and wicket keeping skills also.
Accommodation has been arranged at the Royal Turf Club, while training will take place at a variety of venues including the Pune club, a ground that hosts Indian first class fixtures.
Approx cost of the trip will be Eur 2200. This includes flights, travel visas, accommodation, meals, internal transport and all cricket.
A limited number of places are currently on offer to either Leinster male or female cricketers.
