There have been two changes of personnel at the Cricket Office at Stormont. Previous Cricket Development Manager Ryan Haire has moved on to pastures new with Belfast City Council and is replaced by the new Club Development Manager, Tim Simmonite. Tim, originally from England and now a player with North Down Cricket Club, took over on 1st June and is looking to continue Ryan’s previous work managing the Belfast Office whilst also exploring new areas of development in Coach Education, Club Accreditation and Active Communities.

The other change has seen Sharon Crossan take over in Administration and Finance from Richard Maguire. Sharon, with a background in accountancy, has recently taken over in a full time capacity after a period of consultancy and assistance.

Ryan Eagleson remains in post at the Cricket Office, his role having changed from grass roots Cricket Development Officer to Talent Identification Officer. Here he will expand his work with the Regional Development Squads and the Northern Ireland Cricket Academy, and also seek to develop girls’ and women’s cricket in Northern Ireland.
