Leinster announce youth tour schedule for 2009
Leinster Cricket Union has been busy preparing a comprehensive programme of cricket fixtures for its young promising players.
Cricket for Ladies/Girls
The Leinster Cricket Union with support from Fingal County Council will be offering a 6 week training programme for girls/women of all ages (beginners & current players).
Leinster announce details of Coach Development Workshops
Leinster coaches will have to opportunity to update and refresh their knowledge through the running of six Coach Development Workshops (CDW’s).

Ten Leinster schoolboys are currently residing in South Africa.

On Thursday (4th of December), Malahide defeated Rush NS by 19 runs in the Fingal U13 Indoor Cricket Final at Balrothery. Earlier 2 teams from Balrothery had played out a close match in the Plate Final.

Senior and Senior 2 Cup Draws 2009
The draws for the Antalis Senior Cup, the sections in both the Dublin Grass Machiner League and the Alan Murray Lewis Hohn Williams 20/20 Competition and the Senior 2 Cup were made live on NEAR FM on Saturday last. The final of the Antalis Cup will be held on Saturday 25th July 2009. Other dates will be advised following the draw for the Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup.

Autumn / Winter Cricket Pitch Maintenance
The grounds committee of the Leinster Cricket Union would like to thank Alan Lewis of Total Turf Solution for his presentation of the Autumn/Winter course. A very enjoyable day was had by the large attendance which was held at Wesley College. Fergus Madden and his staff at the college did a great job and a big thank you must go to them. Thanks must go to Jody Morgan and David Hackett from Trinity College for their work in making the day a big success. Following on from the Spring/Summer course held at North County earlier in the year the grounds committee feel that the courses will help to move pitches to a new level.
Next year we hope to provide a level 2 ground course, more information soon.
